New Projects

So, yeah, been a while so I thought I should probably update my devart journal with whats up. Currently, I'm preparing to launch the flagship title under my own publishing banner at [link] The book is called The Becoming and is a gothic steampunk post-apocalyptic zombie epic -- at least that's how we like to think of it around the studio. =) It is written by me and drawn by Douang Khamsitthisack. You can see a few finished (and unfinished) pages at her devart page at her gallery here: [link] There is also a backup feature starring Cupid that is set to defy pretty much any and all expectations one might have regarding a comic focusing on that particular god. I'll be writing and drawing that one.

And that brings us to the current state of hAxx0r...

It's dead. Gone. Over and done with. Quite frankly, between the miserable experience I had in SPI '09 and then losing all the work I had done on it when my hd crashed, I just lost all love and interest in it. It just feels tainted and I cannot bring myself to get excited about it in the least, let alone to the level that I was before SPI. I'll probably recycle some of the characters and concepts into something else, but hAxx0r as featured in SPI is finished.

That said, I'm still working on my MVA commitment which is now an entirely different story than what was originally going to see published, but hopefully still fun and interesting.

That's it for now, hope to have some new art posted on this thing soon.

Thanks Chris, best wishes to you guys too.

Your title is a great concept and I can't wait to see how you execute it.

Also, just wanted to say that I really liked the first cover concept. The 2nd may be more "dynamic" but the first really told the story and sold what it was about. Whichever you go with, I think you'll really nail the colors. Anyway, take care and keep in touch!

Thanks! I really appreciate it.

Your "Circuit Man" really caught my eye. That is just one gorgeous piece of work. Love how you handled the tech and composition.

Thanks, I did a walled sized one at a recording studio, it was colored and everything, I wish I took a picture of it. Yeah the recording studio went out of business and they painted over it, too sad
